Hubbys addicted to porn, its creating a lot of marital problems..?
My marriage counselor says she hears it all day long, so many marriages are being ruined. She suggested i enroll in a 12 step program for wives like me, I’ve searched the internet & cant seem to find help for wives,only addicts. Any suggestions? Also, any other wives gong through this? I’d like to hear from you! Dont want to walk away from 24 years of marriage.
It’s disturbing that you mention what your counselor says, but not what his counselor says. What licensed professional evaluated him and diagnosed him with a pornography addiction?
I’m guessing none. I’m guessing you are the one making a big deal out of some perfectly harmless porn, and your counselor is telling you what you want to hear.
You need a new direction in counseling. Ask your counselor to help you stop telling yourself irrational thoughts about your husband watching porn. Work on yourself, and stop taking your husband’s inventory.
